Scenic Improv: The Splendid Way! April 3,10 and 17th – 1:30-4:30 $140
In this series of three classes, improv veterans Splendid Things will take you through their unique approach to scenic improvisation using Character, Narrative, and Genre. You’ll learn how to analyze and deconstruct your scenework using genre theory, how to stretch your limits and create unique, new characters, and how to make character arcs and scenic narrative a more instinctual part of your improvisation. The end result? Stronger, funnier, more meaningful improv.
Since this class focuses on extended scenework, participants must have at least an intermediate level of performance experience.
